I have fifteen years clinical experience in both psychological counselling and behavioural interventions. During this time, I have worked with both families and young people with variety of mental health concerns and abilities, including anxiety disorders, depression and personality disorders. I have also developed a high level of expertise in providing clinical services to people with varying levels of intellectual disability and complex behavioural support needs, and have a special interest in Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. My practice approach is eclectic, with an emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Post-Structuralist Approaches. As a practitioner, my goal is to enhance the client’s quality of life by focusing therapy on the individual, their needs, and their strengths, and by giving them the tools to build resilience.
